Terry Brown, the Aldershot manager, has told Sky Sports that the Conference title race is not over despite Accrington being way out in front.
"If Hereford can put a run together they've definitely got what it takes to claw Accrington back. Stanley are likely to go through a sticky patch, much like Grays are at the moment, so there could still be a lot to play for," he said.
Meanwhile Brown has acknowledged that time is running out for the Shots to make the play-offs with Saturday's defeat at Stevenage leaving the club a massive 13 points behind Hereford United who are in fifth spot.
Finally Brown has dismissed speculation linking him with the vacant manager's job at Torquay.
"Normally you're doing really well in your own league before another club comes in with an offer for you, and that hasn't been the case!
"I'm working very hard to make sure I stay as Aldershot manager for as long as I possibly can."
Aldershot visit Edgar Street for a Conference fixture in two weeks.
