Preview: Canvey vs Bulls

The Bulls travel to Canvey Island for only the second time looking to extend their unbeaten league run to 10 games.

It's four months since the Bulls lost on the road in a Conference match but a draw in October at Edgar Street, featuring a Matt Bailey goal in an otherwise dismal Bulls performance, will remind the Bulls that Canvey won't be the pushover they were at Park Lane last season. A 4-0 win greeted the Bulls first trip, with a late Adam Stansfield brace joining first half goals from Lee Mills and Danny Williams.

Canvey have picked up just one point from 15 recently - conceding two goals in each of those five games and scoring in just one in the absence of top scorer Lee Boylan, but they are not to be taken lightly. Of the play-off contenders, only Accrington and Halifax have scraped wins since the start of December - with Exeter and Grays (twice) losing to the Essex side.
