Preview: Scarboro vs Bulls

The Bulls go to the coast defending a six match unbeaten run since they lost to Stockport in the FA Cup.

The Bulls are undefeated against Scarboro for five games also. The opening day 4-0 win was a sign of things to come for Scarboro as they spent nearly half the time on the bottom of the division before despatching manager Nick Henry at the end of October. Results briefly improved under new manager Neil Redfearn, but they lost every league match in December and their draw against York was their first point from fifteen.

That opening 4-0 win included a virtuoso performance from Guy Ipoua, and a debut goal from Dean Beckwith as a second half onslaught demolished an already weary Scarboro. In previous seasons, the McCain stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for the Bulls - their only Conference win there coming in November 2000 with Gavin Williams and Michael McIndoe inflicting the damage in a 4-2 win.

Scarborough vs Hereford United, Saturday January 7th 2006, 3.00pm.
