Trialist defender Danny Woodards has signed for Exeter City for the rest of the season, according to the Exeter Express and Echo.
Woodards, 22, is a former Chelsea trainee and has played in the last two matches on non-contract terms. Manager Alex Inglethorpe has had to juggle his budget to accomodate the full back, seen as a long term replacement for veteran Scott Hiley.
Inglethorpe's next target is to extend winger Tony Scully's loan from Notts County. The player is currently due to return at the end of the month but Inglethorpe is keen to see Scully stay for the rest of the season.
