In his weekly article in the Hereford Times, Graham Turner has revealed that the bank account at Hereford United is down by around £45,000 since the start of the season.
"The first thing the floating supporter does is look at our league position. If we are up in the top two or three they come, if we are halfway they don't," said Turner.
"Our gates are down this season, which reflects the league position.
"We have a higher proportion of season ticket holders this season than ever so that money taken in the summer has to be ring fenced to pay day to day running costs throughout the season."
