The window for loan transfers closes this coming Thursday, November 24th.
Loan transfers will be possible after this date until January 1st only in an extreme emergency, and Graham Turner has already made it clear that a goalkeeper will be sought to replace the injured Wayne Brown.
It is unlikely that Matt Bailey's loan will be extended with Adam Stansfield's return to fitness likely to be tested in the LDV Trophy match on Tuesday. The lanky striker has failed to appear in any of the last three games despite his loan spell not ending until after Saturday's match against Exeter. Initial reports suggested Bailey had returned to Crewe, but Turner insisted that the player remained registered to Hereford but refused to be drawn further on the matter.
Turner has confirmed in the past week that funding is available to sign "the right player" but with the squad returning to form, and with Stansfield and Simon Travis proving their fitness, it is unlikely that anyone other than a goalkeeper will join the squad before Thursday.
