The Bulls LDV opponents have signed Torquay striker Leon Constantine on loan with a view to a permanent £20,000 move in January.
However, the player will not be eligible for the LDV match between the two sides as he was a last-minute substitute in Torquay's 3-1 home defeat to Swansea in the last round.
Port Vale could be short of bodies for the LDV game - they have two other loanee's, Gary Mulligan and Chris Cornes, both unavailable for their FA Cup game as the loaning clubs don't want the players cup-tied. Cornes will be especially missed, having scored four goals in the last four games. They have also lost Captain Sam Collins to Hull City on loan after the player asked to go to the higher graded side.
