Brown suffers broken wrist

Hereford United's loanee Wayne Brown has broken his wrist and now faces a number of months on the sidelines. Graham Turner said, speaking to the Official Hereford United website, that there is work all ready going on to bring in a short term replacement for the 'keeper on a seasons long loan from Chester.

Craig Mawson will now keep his place in goal for The Bulls, which he has had in the last few games, mostly due to the terms in Brown's loan deal, which don't allow him to play in cup games whilst at Edgar Street. Mawson suprisingly kept his starting place for the home game against Woking last Saturday but is now, almost, guaranteed of a start at Dagenham tomorrow. It is thought that youngster Carl Lewis will be United's sub goalie for the encounter.
