In his weekly interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester, Graham Turner spoke of the contribution on-loan striker, Matt Bailey, has made to the side.
"He's won a fair amount in the air. He did miss a very good opportunity at Accrington with a side footer from close range.
"But he's generally done quite well for us. He's learning the game. He's only 19 and from his point of view it's good experience.
"And from our point of view it gives us something a little bit different from any of the other players we've got."
Earlier this week Dario Gradi, Bailey's manager at Crewe, told the Crewe Chronicle, that he wanted the young striker to gain experience.
"He is playing a good standard and has scored. It shows how he has improved.
"He is getting physically stronger all the time and the lad worked extremely hard during the summer. He has good technique in the air and if he can get quicker and stronger then the sky could be the limit for him. His spell at Hereford will help."
Meanwhile the Hereford United manager could have a selection problem for the game against Burton on Saturday. Several players including strikers Bailey and Danny Carey-Bertram are reported to still be carrying injuries.
He may give Andy Williams his first Conference start. Williams had a good game at Bromyard last Tuesday and impressed when he came on late in the game last Friday at Accrington.
