The manager of Mansfield, Peter Shirtliff, has spoken to This is Nottingham about Hereford United.
He knows it is a tough task against Hereford who have finished second in the Conference for the past two seasons.
He said: "We won 4-0 in our last home game but that has got nothing to do with this match.
"It is a new game, we will have a different team out and we are playing different opposition.
"They are a tough side to beat and are from the Conference, where, like most sides, they are all full time. So I expect a tough match.
"They are a steady Conference outfit and perform well and are committed and organised and very fit.
"I know their manager Graham Turner well and it will be a difficult task for us.
"The game at Carlisle (last Saturday) was not a classic and we were in possession but started to give the ball away which allowed them to put the pressure on and get the goal.
"But we had chances.
"Now we have to concentrate on Hereford and put things right."
