On-loan striker Matt Bailey, speaking to the Official Hereford United Website, acknowledged that his loan move was beneficial to him.
"My fitness is coming back. Before joining Hereford I hadn't played competitively for at least a month, so the more games I can get under my belt, the fitter and fitter I'm becoming. I always find its good to play against the better teams. I'm enjoying it here. I'd rather have a real challenge and obviously I have something to aim for. Shielding the ball and bringing other people into things is part of my game. I'm the big man up front. I've got to try and connect things together. With my height I've got to try and gain as much advantage from it as I can. To be fair I wasn't here when it was 3-5-2, but I think we're training well with the new system, and it seems to be working."
The official website confirms that Bailey will be available for the LDV match at Mansfield, but no decision has yet been made on his FA Cup availability.
