Hereford United are top of the Conference

Hereford United defeated Scarborough 4-0 this afternoon and go top of the League.

Although the score was 0-0 at the break, the Bulls playing down the slope showed their supporters that they mean business this season with four well taken goals. On top of that they hit the post twice and had the ball in the back of the net ruled out because of an offside.

Guy Ipoua will probably be named man of the match, but this was a team effort. In fact the last goal was created by the three substitutes.

Also noticable was that one of the goals came from a corner.

Tony James was a slight doubt for the game after a visit to a back specialist last Thursday. He didn't appear to be suffering from any discomfort on the pitch during the game.

Meanwhile the odds on the Bulls winning the Conference have dropped to 9-2 this evening. Guy Ipoua odds as top scorer have also dropped to 16-1.
