This article is from the Official Forest Green Website:
Forest Green Rovers take on Hereford United tonight at The Lawn, kick-off 7.45pm.
This is a big game for both clubs as Rovers need to pick up the points to give themselves a chance of staying up whilst visitors Hereford are looking to claim all the points for themselves as they look to ensure a place in the play-off positions. This makes the match a must win for both teams and a large crowd is expected.
Rovers will be without defender Darren Davies who is suspended but there is a chance that Jon Richardson will return from injury. Rovers boss Alan Lewer may well be without Scott Rogers, Hugh McAuley and on-loan Lewis Haldane as they are all doubtful through injury. Stuart Roberts and Ritchie Appleby could return from injury but they will both be short of match fitness.
Hereford boss Graham Turner will be without Daryl Taylor as he picked up a knee injury in their win against York, but Danny Carey-Bertram will be available for selection after serving his suspension. Hereford are likely to include ex-Rovers Simon Travis in their line-up.
Rovers will have to produce another hard-working display to get anything out of the match as defeat could spell disaster for Nationwide Conference survival.
Fans are asked to arrive in plenty of time as parking will be at a minimum around the ground, segregation will also be in place for the big match.
Meanwhile BBC Hereford and Worcester will have coverage from the whole of tonight's game tonight's game on the internet as well as updates into the evening programmes.
