It is being reported that 1386 Hereford fans saw the match at the Lawn last night. This was an excellent turnout surpassing many peoples expectation.
After the game Tamika Mkandawire spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We got the goal in the first half and we were quite comfortable for a while. But in the second half they put three up and played better fotball to be fair to them
"They put a few balls into the box but I thought we dealt quite well. They put us under a bit of pressure when they made it 2-1 but in the end it was quite comfortable."
Meanwhile the Western Daily Press has confirmed that the Forest Green manager, Alan Lewer, was sent off at half-time for verbally abusing referee Mike Mullarkey and had to witness the rest of the game from the stand.
