David Brown is expected to make his debut for Accrington Stanley next Saturday against Morecambe.
It is understood that Accrington Stanley expect to get the all-clear to seal the signing of David Brown in a day or two.
The 26-year-old striker last week agreed a deal until the end of the season following his departure from play-off rivals Hereford United.
However, a delay in his release from the Bulls prevented him from playing in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Carlisle.
