We need to be on our guard
Hereford United captain, Tony James, has warned his team-mates that they will have to be on their guard against Southport in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
"We will have to make sure they don't catch us cold," James told the Western Daily Press. "In the fourth qualifying round they scored three goals in the first 25 minutes to knock Hyde United out of the competition."
James also pointed out that Southport are making a determined bid to win promotion back into the Nationwide Conference.
"They are having a very good season and will be going all out to show their mettle," added James.
