Squad have league experience
Harrow Borough, who will entertain Hereford United in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, are currently close to the bottom of the Ryman League. But their large squad contains several players with higher league experience.
Edwin Stein is manager at Harrow. Edwin had a long and successful playing career with Boro', Luton Town, Dagenham and Barnet before gaining valuable managerial experience whilst serving under Barry Fry at Barnet, Southend United and Birmingham City. He also occupied the Caretaker Manager position at both Barnet and Southend United following the departure of his mentor. More latterly he has served both Boro(2 spells) and St Albans City in the role of Club Coach/Assistant Manager.
In the report of their replay last night, the official website said: "An attractive clash at home to Conference leaders Hereford United on October 25th is Borough's reward for finally seeing off the challenge of Dr Martens League Eastern Division outfit Newport in this FA Cup third qualifying round replay last night. Victory put a £5,000 FA bonus into the Borough coffers, to go with the £3,750 they earned from the second qualifying round win over Flackwell Heath. There's another £10,000 up for grabs when they meet Hereford, but The Bulls will offer a decidedly sterner test, and Borough will need to cut out the profligacy displayed against Newport if they are to get their hands on more cash - along with a place in the first round proper."
Earlsmead, which has been the home of Harrow Borough since 1934, is located in South Harrow, Middlesex. Harrow is a Borough to the North West of London. Harrow's most famous landmark is the Hill with the spire of St Marys. The public school is also to be found on the hill.
