All five of Morecambe FC's directors have stood down according to documentation on the Companies House site.
There's nothing as yet about their decision on the official Morecambe site however the Shrimps Trust commented earlier:
'The Shrimps Trust are disturbed to learn of Jason Whittingham’s intentions to sack the club’s board of directors.
Timescales and promises provided by Bond Group over the course of the sale process have previously failed to come to fruition, and we remain doubtful over this latest assurance that Bond Group will successfully complete the sale of the club.'
According to football expert Keiran Maguire - Jason Whittingham has been involved as a director of 25 companies, 10 have been dissolved, 2 are in receivership, 1 has been liquidated, 1 is in administration and between them they have had 57 strike off notices.
