Changes To Hereford's Fanzone

 

Hereford FC have reported that it is hoped to have a 'Fanzone' at every home game this coming season.

They've detailed a number of measures including a fence around the area and gates into it.

The aim is that the area can be used during games.

“The temporary Fanzone we have had previously proved a big hit and it will be great to make it a more regular feature at the ground," said chairman Chris Ammonds.

"The fence will give us separation from the main car park and its access routes, increasing safety, and will also make the Fanzone feel part of the ground, rather than a temporary addition.

"The fence will also include gates that will be closed by stewards when our games kick-off which will also prevent anyone entering the ground late without paying for a ticket."

HUST, the Hereford United Supporters Trust, are jointly funding the project.

“We understand this is the first phase of several phases of work where we may be able to make contributions and look forward to working in partnership with the Club on these future projects," said HUST chairman Richard Tomkins.
