News Round-Up

Ex-Bull James McQuilkin has signed a contract with Kidderminster until the end of the season. The 26 year old midfielder joined the Harriers last month on non-contract terms, making five appearances so far. Darlington have received a 12 point suspended deduction after playing midfielder Anthony Bell without international clearance at the start of the season.

The National League is to seek a meeting with the Football League to express concerns at the changes to parachute payments. Clubs are now due to receive 100% payments in the first year following relegation, with the fifth tier clubs concerned that it will be harder to compete with the extra money relegated sides will have. The fifth tier will consult with clubs in January before making representations.
