Gateshead Wipe Bogie's Name Off Manager's Door

Gateshead have sacked manager Ian Bogie and assistant Terry Mitchell tonight.

Bogie, who had been at the club for over six years, leaves after a run in which the Heed had won only three games in sixteen. He initially came in as assistant manager before taking the senior job and leading the club into the Conference.

Reserve team coach Anth Smith has been placed in caretaker charge.
