Dagenham have lost the services of defender Exodus Geohaghon as his three month loan spell has expired. The 26 year old was expected to complete a permanent January move to the Daggers from Darlington, but made just one sub appearance after the Quakers went into Administration. Darlington fans report that they have already raised over £170,000 towards buying the club. They need £250,000 to organise a CVA, with another £250,000 for football creditors and £250,000 to cover losses for the season.
Bradford are trialling Newcastle striker Dan Taylor. The teenager is out of contract at St James Park in the summer and has been loaned out to Northern League side Ashington, where former Bulls loanee Johnny Godsmark is playing. Macclesfield are to sign giant defender Ben Futcher on loan from Bury. The 6ft 7in 30 year old has spent the past month at Telford and was expected to agree a longer stay there.
Dagenham are to appeal the red card handed to keeper Chris Lewington during Saturday's hammering at the hands of Cheltenham. Lewington was dismissed for handling the ball outside the area. Accrington have announced that cricket commentator David Lloyd is to join their board as a non-executive Director. The Accrington native bought the first share of the club's current share sale.
Bristol Rovers have loaned keeper Lance Cronin to Ebbsfleet for an initial month. The 26 year old spent five years with the Conference side, and has made only one appearance for the Pirates since his summer arrival. Northampton have signed keeper Matt Duke on loan from Bradford for the remainder of the season. The 34 year old was the Bantams' no.1 before being dropped in November after being Phil Parkinson's first signing for the club.
Port Vale's Supporters Club chairman believes the club will have to go into Administration if the current board is ousted at the forthcoming EGM. Phil Williams, one of six prospective candidates to replace the board, says the club's finances cannot survive on the current 4,000 gates. The club has until close of business today to call the EGM. Aldershot have allowed striker Stefan Payne to join Sutton. The former Gillingham man only signed a deal until the end of the season three weeks ago.
