James hopes for improvement at Merthyr
After tonight's Four Nations tournament match between Wales and Scotland, Hereford United defender Tony James reckoned that the Welsh side were lucky to steal victory by two goal to one.
He told HU-FC.co.uk: "In the first half, we played some decent football and had quite a few shots on goal. It was a bit scrappy as a game and we were a little bit lucky to pinch a winner.
"It was not bad for a side which has only just got together."
On Thursday, it's the Battle of Britain as England play Wales at Merthyr Tydfil, with Tony James and Paul Parry featuring for the Welsh and Michael Rose and Matt Baker on the side of the English.
James continued: "It will be interesting to see how we do. We should hopefully perform better as a side having got the experience of this match."
England won 4-0 over Ireland this evening and that match could prove crucial. "The goal difference could come into it," the United defender contemplated. "But we'll always give the English a good game."
