Hereford's Attendance Last Saturday Second In All National League Divisions

An excellent attendance at Edgar Street for the visit of South Shields was the second highest in all three National Leagues.

This from the National League:

As expected it was a packed house as the two teams who top the attendance charts met at the weekend.

Carlisle United and Southend didn’t let the 7,000+ crowd down as they played out a thriller at Brunton Park, with bucket loads of late drama as the gave eventually stopped swinging and ended 2-2.

Almost 400 away fans made the near 12-hour round trip, pictured.

The second and third best crowd of the day came from the Enterprise National League North and South.

Hereford, pictured above, put on a show for the 3,715 who turned up to watch their game against South Shields as they hit them for six to strengthen their hand at the top of the division.

The Bulls’ blitz was their fourth win in a row and manager Aaron Downes praised the Edgar Street faithful after seeing their team score half a dozen.

Only a handful fewer watched Torquay United take on Dorking Wanderers, as the promotion hopefuls shared four goals.

The 3,708 at Plainmoor were treated to a thriller but both had to settle for a point.

There was a big crowd at Kidderminster Harriers on Friday night as Paul Wotton’s team beat Hartlepool United to rise to fourth in front of 3,143.

Let’s take a look at the top five attendances from all three divisions.
