Gates Up 20% In National Leagues Last Saturday

Over 1500 watched the game between Buxton and Hereford

Gates in the three National Leagues were up 20% on the opening day last season.

The total number was 72,470 compared with 60,088 on August 8th last year.

In the National League 35,432 watched, 10,695 more than last year.

20,006 watched National North League games and 17,032 watched National South fixtures. That figure would have been higher but for Slough whose games against Ebbsfleet was postponed.  

Just three fixtures had gates below 1,000.
