Match Report: Hereford Women v Kingfisher

Hereford faced Kingfisher who were propping up the league at the beginning of the day, the game was played at Wellington due to obvious issues with Edgar Street.

Despite being used Saturday and heavy rain fall the pitch looked in a reasonable condition.
As the rain fell Hereford dominated the first half but failed to find the back of the net, they kept possession well and passed the ball around nicely on a increasing heavy pitch.

HT :  0-0

On 47 minutes, an excellent run by Mollie Camden who against the odds kept the ball in play and got a shot away from an acute angle, the Kingfisher keeper parried the ball away but Sheree Smith was on hand to bundle the ball into the net from close range

1-0

Hereford continued to control the game, the pitch however was cutting up , passing became difficult and challenges unpredictable, the referee branded several yellow cards two of which went to Katy Huntbach, firstly for a late challenge and then later for arguing with the ref about a minor decision.

Despite Hereford being down to ten players Kingfisher were unable to capitalise and remain at the bottom of the table.

FT : Hereford 1-0 Kingfisher
