Revealed: How many times Hereford have conceded early this season

Incredibly, Hereford have conceded in the opening 20 minutes in almost a third of their league games this season.

BN has crunched the numbers, looking at when the club has been up against it, trying to get back into the game after gifting their opponents an early lead.

And in 20 league matches, Paul Caddis' side have conceded by the 17th minute an extraordinary seven times - with five of those worryingly being at home.

And in two of those games (versus Chorley and Bedford respectively), Hereford had been 2-0 down by the 20th minute mark.

And even against Curzon Ashton, the Bulls had conceded two goals by the 21st minute. Only on two occasions (versus Bedford and Chorley respectively) have they managed to get something out of the game.

And even if you take cup matches into the equation, Hereford conceded in the ninth minute against Radcliffe in the FA Trophy before drawing 1-1 and then winning on penalties. In the previous round (away at AFC Sudbury), the Bulls went behind in the 21st minute before winning 5-1.

League matches in which Hereford have conceded by the 20th minute

August 23: Chorley (h) - conceded in the 6th and 11th minute, lost 4-1

August 25: Radcliffe (a) - conceded in the 17th minute, lost 1-0

September 2: Bedford (h) - conceded in the 4th and 16th minute, drew 2-2
