Sam Osborne has posted a brief message on social media as he returns to parent club Alfreton Town.
He said he loved his time at Edgar Street and, after thanking the players, staff and fans for the support, wished the club nothing but success for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old former Notts County midfielder has been a standout performer for Hereford this season since joining on loan from Alfreton.
But he will be back at the struggling Derbyshire side as Hereford face them on Saturday, due to a break clause in the deal - something Paul Caddis has said is common.
Osborne made 24 appearances for the Bulls, scoring seven goals.
