More Hereford games at risk?

A cold snap means that Hereford are in danger of seeing more games postponed.

The Bulls are already playing catch up with the weather putting paid to some games already this season. It means that they have between two and four games in hand of the sides around them as Paul Caddis' side try and steer clear of the relegation zone.

However, Hereford's fixture congestion could get even worse, with freezing temperatures potentially threatening the matches at Alfreton and Scarborough respectively.

The former is this Saturday (January 3).

However, the thermometer in Derbyshire is set to drop below freezing overnight into Saturday. And, while it is forecast to be sunny by kick off, the temperature is only set to be IC.

Meanwhile, Hereford's match against Scarborough - scheduled three days later on the 6th - could be postponed for the third time.

Snow already put paid to one of the games in Bridlington, and it could happen again.

Sleet or light snow is forecast to hit the area on Friday, and could continue right up to Tuesday when the match is scheduled to take place.

Because of the long distance that Hereford will have to travel, an early decision will have to be made if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Hopefully, both matches are played. If not, then the Bulls' fixtures will pile up even more, especially if they progress in the FA Trophy.

Hereford entertain AFC Fylde on January 10, which has seen the scheduled league match against Darlington pushed back to February 17.

However, if they beat the Coasters, then the away encounter at Curzon Ashton on January 31 will have to be rearranged.
