Hereford have suffered three postponed games in recent weeks but shoehorning in extra training sessions hasn't been easy.
After the 2-0 win at Peterborough Sports on Saturday, gaffer Paul Caddis was asked whether having games called off meant extra training sessions for his part-time side.
With Hereford only training on a Tuesday and Thursday, postponements against Marine, Macclesfield and Scarborough meant a chance for extra training - though that hasn't always been possible.
"It's been difficult because the games have been called off on the day," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"It has been difficult and trying to find venues is very hard on a Saturday because obviously everyone plays football on a Saturday, there's kids' football.
"It's not as if the lads have been sitting at home doing nothing. We've insisted that they send us a 5k [run], so they have been doing stuff.
"They're a brilliant bunch, we trust them."
He added: "I think they respect that I treat them like human beings. I'm not a dictator. I'm quite open with them and honest with them and and they give me exactly that back so the relationship's excellent."
