Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds has told any fan who wants to be discriminatory to get out the club after Sporting Khalsa's goalkeeper was allegedly racially abused on Saturday.

Giving an update to the club's YouTube channel which was posted on Monday morning, Ammonds said he, like the majority of Hereford fans, felt gutted after leaving the Aspray Arena on Saturday after the FA Cup second qualifying round tie was abandoned with the Bulls leading 2-1.

Speaking with general manager Jamie Griffiths, he said nothing can be pre-judged and the investigations have to be left to conclude.

He was expecting an update from the FA on Monday, with football secretary Nik Marsh already speaking with the body over Saturday's events where Ravan Constable reported to referee Callum Fisk that he had been racially abused.

"We'll just see how that plays out and at some point we'll find out what the situation is with potential rematch or whatever. We'll just await information from the FA really, but more than anything, it's just a feeling of disappointment that our club's been associated with an incident like this.

"The Sporting Khalsa officials were fantastic after the game. They were almost saying, 'don't beat yourself up'; you can't really be responsible for the actions of one or two individuals.

"But in reality, it's hard not to feel the shame of it in many ways. It's been a difficult couple of days and I've seen fans' comments online saying that they've felt it's been a really hard couple of days for them.

"If there is a positive you can take from this type of thing, I think it's the way that, as a club, we've dealt with the aftermath of the incident and actually the way supporters have reacted to it.

"I've had quite a number of direct personal messages, just people absolutely gutted that they now feel they're associated with behaviour of this type and it couldn't be any clearer that the vast, vast, vast majority of Hereford FC fans have absolutely no desire to be associated with individuals who are capable of this type of behaviour, want them out of our fan base.

"We all want them out of our fan base and if you're going to behave in this way, in any way, shape, or form, anything discriminatory, just go, we just don't want you. We're not interested in having you in our in our fan base. And that's been echoed by all our supporters."

It comes after the club confirmed on Sunday that two fans had been banned with immediate effect following Saturday's FA Cup match at Sporting Khalsa in which the opposing keeper was allegedly racially abused.

The game was swiftly stopped, with Bulls manager Paul Caddis ordering his players off. The match was subsequently abandoned with around 20 minutes still to play.

While two fans were identified as possibly being involved and were served with immediate interim bans, he urged supporters not to speculate.
