Additional security at Sporting Khalsa for FA Cup tie

Andy Williams scoring Hereford's second goal in Saturday's abandoned game

Sporting Khalsa have said they will not be reducing ticket prices for the FA Cup second qualifying round tie against Hereford next week.

The game will be replayed on Tuesday 23rd September after the initial match was abandoned after accusations of racist chants to Khalsa's keeper Ravan Constable.

Two fans have since been banned by Hereford FC pending the outcome a full investigation, with West Midlands Police also looking into the accusations.

After the FA confirmed the tie would be replayed in full, including extra time and penalties if needed, Khalsa said ticket prices will not be altered for the game, "to offset the costs of additional security"

"That said, we hope to see as many of you there for what promises to be an exciting game of football," the club added.

Ticket prices for the game at Sporting Khalsa on Saturday were £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £5 for under-18s.

Tickets were available online or at turnstiles, with cash and card payments accepted, and that is expected to be the same next Tuesday.

The winners of the tie, which kicks off at 7.45pm, will face a trip to Hemel Hampstead Town on Saturday 27th September.
