Chair wants fans to carry on backing club as they tackle 'obvious challenges head on'

Hereford chairman Chris Ammonds has called on supporters to get behind the club after a poor start to the season.

With a 1-0 defeat at Radcliffe on bank holiday Monday only adding to the Bulls' woes, Ammonds said on X (formerly Twitter) that there are obvious challenges facing the club.

However, he said they will be tackled head on and that corner will be easier to turn if fans get behind the club.

Ammonds, otherwise known as Stig, also said: "The support [at Radcliffe] looked and sounded great. Thank you and please have a safe journey home."

With Hereford 23rd in the Enterprise National League North season with only one win from their opening five match, Paul Caddis has already vowed changes to the squad. He said players will be leaving the club this week to free up cash for reinforcements.
