Very sad news this morning, Ron Parrott has died. He was 75.
Club Chairman Chris Ammonds has tweeted:
'Such sad news.
A lovely, lovely man who you couldn't help but enjoy talking football (or about life) with.
His passion for our clubs was infectious and inspiring - a true club legend for all eras.
Sending much love to Elaine, all his family and his many friends. RIP Ron.'
