An excellent second half free kick from Hereford captain Alex Babos helped seal victory over Buxton at Edgar Street last night.
Babos captained the side as Lewis Hudson was on the bench.
"Delighted and what a time to get it as well, I think I was due one," said Babos afterwards.
"I thought we dropped off a bit in the last 20 minutes, which is something going forward we need to iron out.
"But the 70 minutes prior was great, on the front foot.
"It kind of how we are going at the moment, when things are going for you it feels a little bit easier out there.
"Buxton are a good team, they are full time. they've got some good players that can cause you damage as you can see from their goal, they've got quality on the ball.
"We're not going to think it's going to go all our own way, we would be very niave to think that but at the same time I think we'll have to do a little bit better. The warning signs were there.
"But you need a little bit of luck in football, it's probably fair to say we had our fair share of bad luck earlier on in the year.
"So swings and roundabouts, I'm not going to complain about tonight."
