We Looked A Bit Lethargic Said Caddis

Hereford manager Paul Caddis had every reason to be disappointed in his teams performance yesterday. A 1-1 draw against Southport with very few clear cut chances for the home side.

Afterwards in his post match interview which didn't take place until after 5.30pm, he said that the only positive was that the game had been drawn.

"We'll start with the positives, we got a draw, not much positive after that," said Caddis.

"I thought you could tell we hadn't played in 15/16 days, we looked a bit lethargic.

"Sometimes that happens when you don't play a lot of games.

"But we did a lot of work on the training ground on Tuesday and Thursday of last week and then Tuesday and Thursday this week.

"Tried to go really attacking, we had attacking players on the pitch.

"We need more goals, simple, we need more goals.

"We had some half decent chances without anything clear.

"So it's my job to try and find a solution. We tried to find that solution, I thought we just huffed and puffed so we changed it a bit at half time with the shape. I thought we were a bit better second half.

"I'm not best pleased."
