Two New Signings Played For Hereford Yesterday

Hereford manager Paul Caddis had two new signings in his starting eleven yesterday. How did they do?

"I thought Theo (Richardson) was good, he's very good with his feet," said Caddis.

"He's very comfortable hence why we tried to get more possession.

"He's got the quality to clip balls into strikers and play balls beyond.

"Obviously Ryan Bartley came back, had to play centre-half.

"Kyle Howkins we haven't seen for ten days/two weeks. He's had a real bad illness but he was adamant he wanted to play.

"We were low in numbers as we were missing Matt Preston (Injury) but that was the reason we had to play Ryan at centre half.

"DJ (Sturridge), it was difficult to get him in the game. We didn't play enough balls down the sides or over the top to use his pace.

"You see the likes of Ceesay, Jayden and Ahkeem, we've got legs in the team at the top end.

"It was one of those ones when you're a golfer and you choose the wrong club.

"A lot of the decision making was poor, letting it go beyond.

"I'm pretty down about that."
