After a lot of speculation and a 10.00 am pitch inspection the game was given the go ahead, the pitch looking relatively good considering it had been undercover for the last week.
Hereford started brightly pegging Ludlow into their own half, on eight minutes Jess Kenny found the back of the net with a great strike from outside the box.
Hereford kept the ball well and caused the opposition countless problems but were unable to capitalise on their dominance until on 28 minutes Sheree Smith pounced on a cross from Izzy Pearson to make it 2-0
Jess Kenny and Robyn Mear both missed several good chances in the remaining time of the first half

Second half saw Hereford again mainly playing in the opposition half.
After serval good chances Jess Kenny again found the net on 72 minutes with a wonderful left footed effort
Several changes followed but Hereford still kept control until the final whistle. In truth
Ludlow rarely broke out of their own half and didn’t test the Hereford keeper all afternoon
Hereford were captained by Matilda Harris as it is understood club captain Sian Bull has left the club to join up with Jon Nash at Cardiff Met.
