I've Never Lost Hope Said Caddis

Three points from Warrington keeps Hereford in the play-off race and manager Paul Caddis said that he hadn't lost hope.

"I've never lost hope," he said.

"We will never give up as a group.

"We're still there, I think we've now secured a top half finish.

"Compared with where the club was last year we're on 69 points, 69 finished fourth last year.

"The change has been remarkable, it's all down to the lads in the dressing room, they've been different class.

"The main aim today was to still be in there next week. We knew there would have to results going our way.

"We're still there, we're still hanging in there, we're still fighting."

As regards the game Caddis said they knew it would be tough.

"We knew they normally played 4 4 2, but they mix it up at times.

"They've got experienced players, they've got Peter Clark who has played 800/900 games. they've got two quick wingers.

"I thought we were really dominant throughout the full game. If there is any criticism it's the amount of chances we had and didn't put the game to bed.

"We're on game 45 and we're looking forward to game 46."

As usual Caddis spoke about the supporters at the game.

"I thought our supporters were immense again. They've come in numbers - close to 350 - and in fancy dress which is brilliant.

"There were a few lookalikes of me in there as well.

"A really big thanks to them and I hope they'll turn up in numbers next week."
