Late goals sees Shrewsbury edge past Hereford

Two late goals saw Shrewsbury come from behind to beat Hereford 2-1 in tonight's pre-season friendly at Edgar Street.

Miles Storey put the Bulls ahead just before the hour mark and the home side had chances to extend their lead.

Josh Gowling changed the entire team during the game, whereas Shrewsbury only made four changes. Experienced striker Shaun Whalley equalised for the away side in the 81st minute before ex-Telford marksman Daniel Udoh won it four minutes later.

It was the first time that fans were allowed into Edgar Street since Boxing Day. The attendance was 1,003, with around 200 making the journey down the A49 from Shrewsbury.
