Hereford Under 18's won their Midland Floodlit Youth League game this evening. They defeated Bromsgrove Sporting U18 3-0.
Bromsgrove were top of the league and undefeated before tonight's game. Two of Hereford's goals came from Greg Preece, one in each half. The third from substitute and under 16's player Liam Bishop on 93 minutes.
Their squad included four U16 players: Joe Mellars started the match having come on as a sub in the previous two matches. The other 3 to make their debuts for under 18's were Rhys Davies - son of former Hereford United player Gareth Davies, striker Liam Bishop and defender Ben Vanstone.
First team youngsters Rory Huntbach and Max Harris returned to the under 18's line up.
Next up for the under 18's is a trip to Evesham next Monday in the FA Youth Cup.
