Tonbridge Angels Away In Cup

Hereford FC have been drawn to play Tonbridge Angels (Kent) away in the next round of the FA Cup.

The tie will take place on October 1st at the Longmead Stadium. Sat Nav is TN10 3JF

Tonbridge play in the Ryman Premier League. They are currently in second place with 19 points from 7 games.

Usual admission charges to their games are: Adults £10, Seniors £7, Youths £4 and Under 13's £2 or free when with an adult.

"Long, long way for majority of our fans to travel (and sure many will) but just to be in FA Cup draw is bloody great," said Hereford chairman Jon Hale.

Visiting Longmead Stadium (Info from Tonbridge OS)

Tonbridge Angels’ Longmead Stadium is an excellent venue to watch football with facilities including; sizable covered terraces behind both goals, nearly 800 seats in the main (West) stand running almost the length of the pitch, plus a comfortable lounge bar and clubhouse serving refreshments. Real ale is usually on sale and as a point of interest for the keenest aficionados of the cask craft the Angels host an annual beer festival.

In the ground, there are the usual amenities and services including fast food vans, club shop, toilets and an Executive Suite for officials, sponsors, advertisers & business partners, premium members and other VIPs. And a number of improvements and upgrades were also undertaken during the summer.

Longmead Stadium meets the grading benchmark for the second tier of non-league football (National League South) so it is well appointed. Tonbridge compete in the Premier Division of the Ryman Isthmian Football League and are aiming for promotion.

The Angels are very much a family-friendly outfit and have recently become a fully-fledged community club.
