Romulus Away In The FA Cup

Hereford FC play their very first away game in the FA Cup tomorrow.

They travel to Coles Field, the home of Sutton Coldfield, where opponents Romulus FC ground-share. It's a 3G pitch.

Romulus, who play in the Northern Premier League First Division South, have had a good start to the season winning all four of their games to date. Currently they are in second position and would be top only for an inferior goal difference.

Last Monday they defeated Newcastle Town 2-1 in front of 101 supporters.

As for Hereford, they too have had a great start to the season winning all their league matches to date and currently top the table. Last Monday they put four past Bishops Cleeve without reply. 3102 watched the game.

Manager Peter Beadle feels it will take a good performance to defeat his side.

"They'll have to have a really good day to get a result against us," he said.

Beadle could choose to keep the same starting eleven as last Monday. However should right back Jimmy Oates be fit he may be in contention for a start.

Romulus have raised their usual prices for the game by £2 for adults to £10. Concessions will pay £5 and under 5's are free. The matchday programme will cost £2.

No parking at the ground but sidestreet parking may be available close-by. If not, there are several car parks around ten minutes walk away from the ground.

Sat Nav for the ground is: B72 1NL

As ever Radio Hereford FC will have full commentary of the game.

Finally should there be a replay it will take place next Tuesday evening at Edgar Street kick-off 7.45pm.
