Aaron Birch has asked to leave Edgar Street this evening.
The 21 year old midfielder has struggled with the travelling from his Birmingham home this season.
Peter Beadle commented: “We know the sort of influential player Aaron can be but we’ve not seen it too much this season and obviously something was affecting his game. We’ve spoken over the last week about the problems and I’ve reluctantly agreed to let him find somewhere closer to his home.”
The club is yet to receive a formal approach for his services from any club but Birch is not expected to play this weekend.
