Hereford FC manager was less than impressed with the referee as they drew 1-1 at Romulus in the FA Cup first qualifying round. The referee sent off Cameron Lee for two bookable offences, before Pablo Haysham was shown a straight red late in the game.
"Everyone was here to see it today, he's not fit enough to
referee at this level of football. From start to finish, it was all
about him.
"He made some ridiculous decisions. Their number 7 lashed out at
Pablo off the ball, then remonstrated in front of the linesman, still
didn't book him.
"Eventually, he started dishing out yellow cards for
innocuous challenges. Disrupted the game. Didn't let the game go.
"That doesn't take away how poor we were. We were poor, referee or
not, we had enough chances to win the game."
The referee awarded Romulus a penalty mid-way through the second-half.
"Too far away to see the penalty but the lads are saying there was no contact.
Haysham was sent-off with just over ten minutes remaining and Beadle was asked about his suspension.
"Think it's two weeks today that the suspension comes into effect. It will either be the next round of the FA Cup or the home game against Paulton Rovers (which Haysham will miss)"
