Club photographer Steve Niblett has listed his last few items on Ebay to raise funds for wages. He wrote on Facebook:
The final few items of the Ronnie Radford signed pics are now online and expire in approx. 24 hours time. It's very unlikely these exact items will be made available again. Many thanks to those who have bought, some fans have been very generous with their bids. The final total should eclipse well over £2k+, although ebay will take 10% of that. Over £1500 has been split amongst employees so far with at least a few hundred more to come.
Along with that there was the £618 bucket collection for the players at Aldershot (thanks to Matthew Lane and Gareth Field for taking the rap from the rozzers when I scarpered), so that comes to a fair sum in all. It seems some of the players spent their share in Tesco Home and Wear last Saturday night.
The efforts of the fans are much appreciated by the recipients of the donations and by myself too, you've made it worthwhile, especially when being asked so many times over recent months. Lets hope we are all sitting in the sun in mid July and our worst complaint is about how high Pritch has let the grass grow. If it is then Mod Nite 4 is a distinct possibility.
