Pell and Purdie in Penalty Taker Dispute

Hereford United didn't have too many chances this afternoon so when Harry Pell was brought down in the box, the youngster wanted to take the spot-kick.

However Rob Purdie, back from injury, had other ideas.

After a few seconds Pell gave in and Purdie took the kick. Only to miss.

Pell then looked at the bench as though to say why couldn't I have taken it.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, to have two players disputing who should take a penalty appeared to sum up this afternoon.

Surely someone is appointed before the game to take the spot-kick should a penalty be given?

And if that player was Purdie then Pell was out of order.
