Hereford United winger Marc Pugh admitted that the windy conditions had affected the game this afternoon.
"I think we played the better football at times," Pugh told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Dagenham played the long ball at times but we dealt with it well.
"Unfortunately they scored with about ten minutes to go and it was a bit of a kick in the teeth really.
"We had a lot of chances, we've just got to put them away."
Pugh is Hereford's top scorer with six so far.
"I could have had one or two today. I hit one wide in the first half and one or two other half chances."
