Conference wants three up, three down

John Moules, chief excutive of the Conference, has told the Non-League Paper that the Conference will push for an extra promotion place to League Two. However it will be 18 months before the outcome will be known.

"From the Premier League down it's three-up and three-down until League Two where it's four-up and two down," he said.

"All we are looking for is parity with the rest of football. We feel that as competition we have moved forward and earned the right to have equal promotion with everybody."

"We recognise we have a lot of work to do over the next 18 months, but we are confident."
