One hundred today
Hereford United have won 99 corners in league games this season so far but have only scored once from the resultant kick.
It was on August 25th when David Brown came off the substitutes bench late in the game against Aldershot.
HU-FC.co.uk reported that the goal came when a Michael Rose corner from the right was flicked onto substitute, David Brown, at the far post. Brown made sure from six yards with an impressive shot after initially facing away from the goal.
Last Tuesday at Northwich several supporters were counting down the corners towards the century believing that another corner would surely result in a goal but it was not to be. So the first corner for Hereford tonight against Dagenham will be number one hundred this season.
The Bulls have won more corners than any other Conference club but for only one goal to be scored as a result must be a part of their game than could be improved.
